By the time you get this, nearly all of our 1-year mission teams will be on a campus overseas in 35 different countries talking with students about Jesus. At the Global Briefing in Chicago last month, we had 270 of these 1-year missionaries getting trained for the year. Most of them are recent college graduates who are foregoing many comforts that their peers are taking advantage of, in order to get the gospel to people who’ve never heard such good news. Of course, there really is nothing more “comforting” than seeing people get reconciled to God!

We helped lead their training in July and were so impressed with their faith, teachable hearts and desire to expose the unreached to the gospel.
And not only will the Lord use them to change the lives of many students around the world, but they will also experience a radical transformation in their own hearts. Our team in Greece this past year was so excited by what God taught them that two of them are joining staff with Cru, one is doing a second year with us in Greece and the other two got married and are interning with us in the states, hoping to go overseas in the future.
